201 Cold Rolled BA Finish Stainless Steel Coils/Strips

201 stainless steels are classified as austenitic, and are hardenable only by cold working methods. These grades of stainless have chromium (approx. 18 to 30%) and nickel (approx. 6 to 20%) as their major alloying additions. Type 201 is the most widely used alloy of all stainless steels. 201 Stainless steel alloys resist corrosion, maintain their strength at high temperatures and are easy to maintain.

Stainless Steel 201 coils contain a minimum of 18% chromium and 8% nickel. These coils also contain carbon which makes the ASTM A240 SS201 one of the most versatile materials for use in a lot of varied industries. These SS 201 coils also provide high ease of fabrication and first-rate formability. Available in a wide array of forms and finishes, these coils are suitable for work at both indoor and outdoor conditions.
